On 13 -15 September 2023, the Faculty of Industrial Technology, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chonmapat Torasa, Dean, along with Professor Dr. Thongchai Thongma, Deputy Dean for Administration and Quality Assurance. Assistant Professor Dr. Preechaya Krukaset, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning Assistant Professor Jitravadee Roongin Kankar, Head of the Department of Real Estate and Building Resource Management Participate in the Round Table Forum (RTF) activities at Nova BUILD EXPO 2023 and join the Innovation Conference discussion: a demonstration of the processing of natural material scraps such as leaf sheaths to increase business opportunities for the community according to the BCG economic model, a forum for exchanging ideas for Help develop society and communities to be livable. Strengthen sustainability and preserve the environment with creative ideas.

This stage will be an important solution for communities across the country. And we want to grow good ideas for community leaders/administrators. Including the new generation to help create change for the better of Thailand.

The BCG (Biocycle Green Economy) economic model is an economic model of sustainable development. It is a concept led by science. Increasing the sustainable competitiveness (S-curve) of 4 target industries through technology and innovation: agriculture and food, industry, energy and materials, industry, healthcare, and tourism and services. The efficiency of traditional production base producers such as farmers and communities will be improved through science, technology and innovation, and entrepreneurs will be encouraged to produce high value-added or innovative products and services.

And in Thailand, the above model has been applied and has been successful and is ready to be shared with everyone today at Nova BUILD EXPO 2023.
