On January 20, 2025, Dr.Thammarak Srimarut, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, participated in the training on the topic of "Driving Organizations Towards Sustainable Development Goals: THE Impact Ranking and QS World University Rankings". The event was honored by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Rosjana Chanthrasa, Deputy Rector for Research and Development, as the chairman of the opening ceremony, along with executives from the institute, such as AsstProf Dr.Morakot Worachairungreung, Director of the Research and Development Institute, Asst.Prof.Dr.Wat Ploysri, Deputy Director for Academic Services, and Dr.Duangjai Limsaksri, Deputy Director of the University Office. In addition, Assoc. Prof. Thammanoon Nuam-on, Deputy Director of the University Office, Chiang Mai University, was an honored speaker to provide knowledge on the university ranking criteria: THE Impact Ranking and QS World University Rankings, as well as to create an understanding of the organization's sustainable development approach for the university's executives, lecturers, and personnel at the Cho Kaew Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The training is in line with several sustainable development goals (SDGs), focusing on enhancing knowledge and understanding about quality development. Supporting Goal 4, which focuses on inclusive and equitable education, this activity provides personnel with opportunities to continuously learn about approaches to organizational development at the international level. It also links with Goal 17, which emphasizes on strengthening collaboration between organizations, by inviting experts from Chiang Mai University to share knowledge and create networks for sustainable development. Furthermore, this training reflects Goal 9, which is about creating a modern infrastructure and promoting innovation in organizational management processes. Therefore, this training is to prepare the university to develop towards international excellence by raising the standards of personnel’s work and strengthening the capability for stable and sustainable development. This training not only helps develop but also promotes collaboration and creates an important foundation for the university’s future progress.
