On June 9, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sethakarn Prongnuch, Head of the Robotics Engineering Program, together with two first-year students — Ms. Nurdalila Ha and Ms. Porntip Nanduangkaew — represented the program as Team SSRU ROBOT 01 in the BRICS Skill Competition Thailand 2025, a competition in Artificial Intelligence Robotics. The event was held from June 9 to 13, 2025, at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Prathom Province.
