On November 30, 2025, at Khlong Yong 1 Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province, the Academic Service Project Working Group of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a meeting with network partners and community leaders from Khlong Yong.

The participants included: (1) the Director of Khlong Yong 1 Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, (2) the President of the White Leelawadee Elderly Club, (3) the President of Don Thong 1 Community, (4) the President of the Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) of Khlong Yong Subdistrict 1, (5) the Village Head of Moo 5, as well as local residents of Khlong Yong who were interested in participating in the project this year.

The objectives of the meeting were to present the policies received for the fiscal year 2026, jointly plan the preparation of the subdistrict development plan and community coordination, identify suitable households, and present information on training activities. This year’s operations are divided into two main programs with three sub-projects, as follows:

Program 1: Enhancing the grassroots economy based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy

P1.1–4: Creative Product and Community Branding Project for Ban Don Thong 1 to increase income and strengthen the local economy, led by Assistant Professor Jitravadee Roongin Kunkar.

P1.2–2: Lifestyle Product Upgrading Project for Ban Don Thong 1 Community through Soft Power and the local creative economy, led by Assistant Professor Supatra Lookraks.

Program 2: Promoting quality of life and local wisdom for area-based security and sustainability

P2.2–1: Sustainable Community Well-being Enhancement Project for a better quality of life through local wisdom innovation, led by Dr.Thammarak Srimarut, with Ajarn Suphatsorn Chimchird and Assistant Professor Rujipun Phangchandha as members of the project team who also met with the community on this occasion.

In addition, Assistant Professor Jitravadee Roongin Kunkar and Ms. Suchitra Poolsawat, Director of Khlong Yong 1 Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, visited participants of the 2025 academic service projects from the Wat Makluea Elderly Club and the White Leelawadee Elderly Club at Wat Makluea, Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The visit aimed to present information on training activities planned for the fiscal year 2026 and to invite interested individuals to participate as beneficiary households in the next activity, scheduled to take place in late December.
