The match result saw the Thailand Women’s National Futsal Team make history by winning the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2026 title for the first time ever. The Thai team secured the championship with an exciting 5–4 victory, marking a historic achievement for Thai women’s futsal. Let us give a big round of applause to the remarkable success of the “Chaba Kaew” women’s futsal players.

Among the players representing Thailand are three students from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, namely:

- Miss Praeploy Huajaipech – Master’s degree student in Political Science (Politics and Government), College of Politics and Government.

- Miss Wallida Chimprabutr – Bachelor’s degree student in Public Administration, College of Politics and Government.

- Miss Nuengruethai Sorhong – Master’s degree student in Political Science (Politics and Government), College of Politics and Government.
