On March 20, 2026, the Safety Technology and Occupational Health Program, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, organized a Basic Fire Safety Training and Building Evacuation Drill Program.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Chonmapat Torasa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology. The program was honored by the participation of 
Mr. Kosin Hansawong, Head of Bang O Fire and Rescue Station, along with Mr. Thanaphon Chatchawan, Mr. Chatchai Srisawat, and Mr. Sayan Khumthong, professional fire and rescue officers, who served as instructors. The event was held at the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology.

This program was organized to provide participants with knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in fire prevention and basic firefighting. It also aimed to prepare participants for proper and safe evacuation procedures, ensuring systematic and efficient responses to emergency situations while minimizing potential loss of life and property.

The activities included both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, covering basic firefighting techniques and building evacuation drills in accordance with the established emergency response plan.
