From Ideas to Success! The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology Drives the Thai Packaging Design Industry Through the Power of Creativity


The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology continues to play an active role in advancing the Thai packaging design industry by promoting creativity, innovation, and practical design excellence. In recognition of outstanding packaging designs that successfully integrate creativity, innovation, and business value, representatives from the Faculty participated in the ThaiPDA AWARD 2026 ceremony.


Assistant Professor Dr. Chonmapat Torasa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Khwanchai Sukkon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Patinya Sang-Aroon from the Product Design, Packaging and Innovation Program, and a group of students, attended the ThaiPDA AWARD 2026 Presentation Ceremony, which was held as part of the special celebration marking the 10th Anniversary of the Thai Packaging Design Association (ThaiPDA). The event took place at the PROPAK STAGE, Hall 2, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, during PROPAK ASIA 2026 on June 11, 2026.


The collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and the Thai Packaging Design Association has been continuously strengthened over the years. Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ThaiPDA to enhance academic programs and develop graduates in the field of packaging design, enabling them to compete effectively at the international level.


The Faculty’s participation in this prestigious award ceremony reflects its strong commitment to bridging education with Thailand’s creative design industry. It also demonstrates the Faculty’s dedication to fostering industry-academic collaboration, enhancing professional competencies, and preparing students to become highly skilled professionals capable of contributing to the sustainable growth and global competitiveness of the packaging design sector.
