The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering Academic Association (Thailand) (EEAAT), proudly hosted The 11th International STEM Education Conference 2026 (iSTEM-Ed 2026) from July 15–17, 2026, at The Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The conference was organized to promote the international exchange of knowledge in STEM Education and to foster sustainable innovation in education through global academic collaboration.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Sirilak Ketchaya, Vice President for Digital Technology of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, together with Associate Professor Atikom Ruksabutr, President of the Electrical Engineering Academic Association (Thailand) (EEAAT).

The iSTEM-Ed 2026 conference served as an international platform that brought together researchers, academics, students, educators, and industry experts from Thailand and around the world to present research findings, exchange ideas and experiences, and strengthen international networks in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The conference also aimed to advance research and educational innovation capable of addressing future societal and industrial challenges.

The conference program featured a wide range of significant topics, including emerging technologies for STEM learning, curriculum development and innovative pedagogical approaches, workforce competency development for the future, partnerships between higher education institutions and industry, and the application of innovation to support sustainable development. These discussions provided valuable opportunities for participants to share best practices, explore collaborative research initiatives, and develop strategies for enhancing STEM education on a global scale.

A highlight of the closing ceremony was the official handover of the iSTEM-Ed flag to Assumption University, which will serve as the host institution for the next edition of the conference, symbolizing the continued growth and international collaboration of the iSTEM-Ed community.

Through hosting this prestigious international conference, the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, reaffirmed its commitment to advancing research excellence and educational quality at the international level. By serving as a hub for academic collaboration, strengthening global research networks, and promoting innovation in STEM Education, the Faculty continues to contribute to the development of highly skilled human resources and sustainable innovations that will support Thailand's future social and economic development.
