On July 22, 2026, Assistant Professor Apinya Suthiprapha , Head of the Department of Industrial Arts and Science, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, received the “Thai Fabric: Timeless Style, Timeless Elegance” Award under the Suan Sunandha Traditional Thai Attire Project 2025, organized by the Office of Arts and Culture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The award was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Komson Sommanawat, Vice President for Administration, during a ceremony held at the Suan Sunandha Hall of Fame, Office of the President, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The project aims to promote awareness among members of the University community of the cultural significance and enduring value of Thai textiles. It encourages the appreciation and preservation of Thailand's textile heritage by showcasing the elegance, craftsmanship, and creativity involved in transforming traditional Thai fabrics into contemporary attire suitable for modern lifestyles.

In addition to preserving cultural identity, the initiative also seeks to enhance the professional image and personal confidence of University personnel while promoting Thai fabrics as a distinctive symbol of national pride and cultural excellence.

The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology extends its heartfelt congratulations to Assistant Professor Apinya  Suthiprapha  on this well-deserved recognition.
