Congratulations to Assistant Professor Parinwat Thanasiratheerachai on Receiving First Prize for Outstanding Research Excellence at APPTech EXPO 2026

The Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, proudly congratulates Assistant Professor Parinwat Thanasiratheerachai, a lecturer in the Faculty and Head of the Engineering Management Program, together with community innovators from Tha Nuea Subdistrict, Mae On District, Chiang Mai Province, on receiving the First Prize in the Outstanding Research Excellence Category (Excellent Level) under the Appropriate Technology (AppTech) Grant Scheme at APPTech EXPO 2026.

The award-winning research project, entitled “Forests that Generate Income: Enhancing Household Net Income through Appropriate Technology Transfer and Capacity Building for Community Innovators in Community Forest Areas,” demonstrates how practical knowledge and appropriate technologies can be effectively applied to improve the livelihoods of local communities.

The research focuses on transferring suitable technologies for real-world implementation to increase household income, strengthen the capabilities of community innovators, and establish sustainable mechanisms for utilizing community forest resources. At the same time, the project contributes to reducing forest fires and haze pollution while promoting environmental conservation and reinforcing the resilience of the local grassroots economy.
