On March 28, 2026, Dr. Thammarak Srimarut, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, and Head of the “Project for Enhancing Therapeutic Massage Products for Community Health,” led a team of faculty members and students on a field visit to the Wat Sawat Waree Seemaram community. The activity aimed to develop social engineering skills and enable participants to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts.
The project was designed to respond effectively to the needs of the community by conducting an in-depth analysis of its strengths and weaknesses, which would serve as essential data for designing solutions that align with the local context. In addition, workshop activities were organized in collaboration with community members to encourage participation and co-creation.
The Faculty would like to express its sincere appreciation to the community leader and local representatives for their valuable cooperation in providing information, exchanging ideas, and sharing firsthand experiences. Their contributions greatly enriched the students’ learning experience and broadened their perspectives.
The ultimate goal of this project is to develop innovative therapeutic massage products, along with the creation of a distinctive brand identity and new packaging design. These efforts aim to empower the community with unique products that can be further developed into sustainable sources of income and promote long-term self-reliance.
