On April 20, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Chonmapat Torasa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, to act as her representative. He was joined by Assistant Professor Dr. Sethakarn Prongnuch, Head of the Robotics Engineering Program, to attend the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Public Organization).

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Wiphu Rujopakarn, Executive Director of the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand, at the Scorpius Meeting Room, National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Public Organization), located in Don Kaeo Subdistrict, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province.

In the afternoon, Mr. Shareef Manutasan, Research Engineer, guided the delegation on a tour of various laboratories, including the ILRS Laboratory, the Optics and Photonics Center Laboratory, the Satellite Assembly and Integration Laboratory, the High-Precision Fabrication Technology Laboratory, the Mechatronics Technology Laboratory, and the Thin Film Technology Laboratory. The visit also included the National Radio Astronomy Observatory at the Huai Hong Khrai Royal Development Study Center, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province.
