**Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology Participates in Workshop on “Strategies for Driving University Policies and Future Development Directions”**

The executive team of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology participated in the workshop entitled **“Strategies for Driving University Policies and Future Development Directions”, held from 28–30 June 2026 at Phumontra Resort, Nakhon Nayok Province. The workshop brought together the University's executives to exchange ideas, share perspectives, and collaboratively define strategic directions for the University's future development in response to the rapidly changing landscape of higher education.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University , who also delivered a keynote address on the critical need for universities to adapt in order to remain sustainable and competitive amid the current higher education challenges. **Associate Professor Dr. Luedech Girdwichai, Chairman of the University Council , shared insights on strategic management, the application of the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework, and effective budget allocation to maximize organizational value and performance.

The workshop also featured discussions on reviewing SSRU Positioning, exploring pathways toward becoming an autonomous public university, revisiting the University's vision and strategic framework, and consolidating organizational development directions to establish clear and sustainable strategies for addressing future challenges.

This initiative reflects the University's strong commitment to visionary leadership, good governance, and continuous institutional development. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by enhancing the quality of higher education management, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through effective, transparent, and resilient organizational governance.
